Glorious brings us probably 2020 best HC album with Justine Jones of Employed to Serve delivering surprisingly punky snarls. In fact the only thing recognizable about her vocal delivery compared to her usual intense growl would be the unmistakable charisma. The guitar riffage could have been pulled from some unusually tight stoner rock outfit and then just speed up to insanity. This EP is just brimming with ideas as well as attitude. Glorious are of course pissed off about this and that but they can’t hide how much fun they are having and it is fittingly contagious. Even the closing Type O Negative Cover manages to be energetic and dare I say it; uplifting, they are blowing the original clear out of the waters.
